Managed Resources, Inc. is seeking a Facility Outpatient Coder for remote work within the Pacific Time Zone. This is a full-time, 1-year contract with potential for long-term engagement.

You will code ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers from medical records, ensuring accurate entries and timely delivery to clients while meeting productivity and quality standards. Required are 3+ years of outpatient coding experience, strong knowledge of coding guidelines, EMR proficiency, and solid Excel skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outpatient facility coding experience.
• Advanced knowledge in outpatient surgical and medical specialties.
• Proficient with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS level 2 coding rules.
• Experience entering codes into databases/software.

Responsibilities

• Abstract ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers from medical records.
• Enter data into client software and coding reports.
• Code accurately using guidelines and client protocols.
• Meet minimum productivity standards.
• Achieve 95% accuracy on quality reviews.
• Ensure timely submission of completed reports.
• Enter time into timekeeping system.
• Protect patient information per HIPAA and related laws.
• Comply with health information regulations and coding principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
