Qualifications

• Must hold RHIT, CCS, or CIC credential.
• Minimum five years experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, POA, APR-DRG & MS-DRG, CPT, Modifiers & APCs.
• Strong knowledge of IPPS/OPPS coding and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Abstract ICD-10-CM/PCS, POA, APR-DRG/MS-DRG, CPT, Modifiers & APC assignment from medical records.
• Provide accurate coding to support documentation and revenue integrity.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security policies.
