Advocate Health seeks a Facility Coding Quality professional to join the Enterprise Revenue Cycle's Integrity Operations: Facility Coding Quality. The role focuses on coding quality, audits, and guidance to ensure compliant practices in a scalable, enterprise setting.

It is a full-time role with 40 hours weekly and may offer remote work for qualified candidates. AHIMA or AAPC certification is preferred, with strong ICD/CPT/HCPCS knowledge and experience in hospital coding and revenue cycle

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC) preferred.
• 5 years of expert-level hospital-based coding experience and revenue cycle knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, and anatomy.
• Proven ability to audit, analyze trends, and drive improvement.
• Experience with remote workforce operations.

Responsabilidades

• Research, interpret, and apply coding requirements to support accurate coding practices.
• Develop and maintain coding guidance and reference materials for enterprise consistency.
• Coordinate and support coding quality audits and action tracking.
• Analyze coding quality data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare reports for leadership and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Partner with operations and education teams to improve documentation quality.
• Support regulatory and compliance projects and respond to inquiries.
