Advocate Health invites applications for the 13244 Enterprise Revenue Cycle - Integrity Operations: Facility Coding Quality role. This is a remote opportunity with a full-time schedule, typically Monday–Friday, 1st shift, 40 hours per week.

The position focuses on coding quality, audits, and enterprise guidance within the Revenue Cycle. Ideal candidates have five years of expert-level professional or hospital-based coding experience, with advanced ICD/CPT/HCPCS knowledge and strong data analysis

Qualifications

• Coding credentials required; 5 years of experience in expert-level professional coding or hospital-based coding and revenue cycle processes.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Advanced ability to identify coding quality issues and provide recommendations.
• Advanced ability to analyze trends and data and display them in a statistical reporting format.
• Advanced interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with physicians and teams.
• Experience with remote workforce operations.

Responsabilités

• Research, interpret, and apply coding, payer, and regulatory requirements to support accurate and compliant Professional and Hospital coding practices.
• Develop, maintain, and update coding guidance, standard work, reference materials, and position statements.
• Coordinate and support coding quality audits and track findings.
• Analyze coding quality data and audit results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare summaries, reports for leadership and quality initiatives.
• Partner with Integrity Operations, coding leadership, clinicians, and education teams to improve documentation quality and coding accuracy.
• Support testing, reporting validation, and workflow updates related to coding quality and compliance initiatives.
• Respond to internal inquiries related to coding guidance and audit outcomes.
