Job summary

Advocate Health Care seeks a Facility Coding Quality Auditor to strengthen Enterprise Revenue Cycle – Integrity Operations. You will apply coding rules to ensure compliant professional and hospital coding and lead quality audits.

Required AHIMA/AAPC credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC), an associate degree, and 5 years of expert-level coding experience. Remote work is possible for eligible states.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC required (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCS-P/CPC).
• 5 years of expert-level professional or hospital-based coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply coding, payer, and regulatory requirements for accurate coding.
• Develop and maintain coding guidance and reference materials.
• Coordinate and support coding quality audits and validate documentation.
• Track findings and support corrective actions; analyze data for improvements.
• Partner with leadership and clinicians to improve documentation quality.
