Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product and Benefits Consultant to design, configure, and implement healthcare benefit plans on the Facets platform. This remote US role collaborates with the payer team and cross-functional groups to deliver compliant, scalable benefit solutions for effective claims adjudication and member experiences.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in healthcare payer settings, including 4+ years in Facets configuration, with strong analytical and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, healthcare or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience, including 4+ years in Facets Product and Benefits configuration.
• Deep knowledge of benefit design, copays, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums and network variations.
• Understanding how configuration impacts claims adjudication, pricing, eligibility, and membership processing.
• Experience documenting requirements, designing solutions, configuration analysis, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or other payer lines.

Responsabilités

• Analyze requirements and translate into Facets Product and Benefits configurations.
• Design healthcare products, benefit structures, accumulators, cost-sharing, coverage tiers, and network rules.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets components ensuring quality and scalability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess impacts across claims, pricing, provider networks, eligibility.
• Develop test scenarios and validate claims outcomes for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, OOP max, and networks.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement sustainable resolutions.
• Support production implementations, product launches, updates, releases, and post-production stabilization.
