Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product and Benefits Consultant tasked with designing, configuring, and implementing healthcare products on the Facets platform. The role collaborates with stakeholders across claims, pricing, networks, and eligibility to deliver scalable, compliant benefit solutions for member experiences.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in healthcare payer settings and 4+ years with Facets configuration, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Admin, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience with 4+ years in Facets Product and Benefits configuration.
• Strong expertise in healthcare benefit design (copays, coinsurance, deductibles, OOPMax, accumulators).
• Understanding of how configuration impacts claims adjudication, pricing, eligibility, and processing.
• Experience documenting requirements, designing solutions, and supporting end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or other payer lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into Facets Product and Benefits configurations.
• Design benefit structures, accumulators, cost-sharing models, tiers, and network rules.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets components with quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess impacts on claims, pricing, networks, and eligibility.
• Develop test scenarios and validate outcomes for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and OOP maxs.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement sustainable resolutions.
• Support production implementations, launches, updates, and post-production stabilization.
