Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product and Benefits Consultant to design, configure, and implement healthcare products and benefit plans within the Facets platform. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, claims, product, network, QA, and technology teams to deliver compliant, scalable benefit solutions that support accurate adjudication and strong member experiences.

The role is remote in the United States, requiring 6+ years in healthcare payer settings with hands-on Facets

Qualifications

• 6+ years in healthcare payer roles with Facets configuration experience.
• Strong understanding of benefit design, copays, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, accumulators, and network variations.
• Experience documenting requirements, solution designs, testing, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into Facets Product and Benefits configurations.
• Design healthcare products, benefit structures, accumulators, cost-sharing, coverage tiers, and network rules.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets components with quality and scalability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across claims, pricing, provider networks, and eligibility.
• Develop test scenarios and validate claims outcomes for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maxes.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement sustainable resolutions.
• Support production implementations, product launches, and post-production stabilization.
