Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product and Benefits Consultant to design, configure, and implement healthcare products and benefit plans within the Facets platform.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional payer team to deliver scalable, compliant benefit solutions supporting claims adjudication and member experiences.

Remote position spanning the United States with a strong emphasis on requirements analysis, product design, testing, and production support.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience with hands-on Facets Product & Benefits configuration.
• Experience documenting requirements, solution designs, configuration analysis, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or other payer lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business, operational, and regulatory requirements and translate into Facets configurations.
• Design healthcare products, benefit structures, accumulators, cost-sharing models, coverage tiers, and network-based rules.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets components for quality, scalability, and alignment with requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess impacts across claims, pricing, eligibility, and downstream systems.
• Develop test scenarios and validate claims outcomes for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and OOP maxes.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable resolutions.
• Support production implementations, product launches, benefit updates, releases, and post-production stabilization.
