Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product & Benefits Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement healthcare product configurations on the Facets platform for US clients in a remote capacity.

This full-time role collaborates with business analysts, claims teams, product owners, and QA to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality benefit solutions, requiring deep payer domain expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience.
• 4+ years hands-on Facets Product & Benefits configuration.
• Expertise in Facets configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of benefit design including copays, deductibles, networks, and limits.
• Experience translating requirements into scalable configuration solutions.
• Knowledge of claims adjudication, pricing, eligibility, and network relationships.

Responsibilities

• Analyze benefit requirements and regulatory mandates to design configurations.
• Configure and validate Facets components for benefit administration and claims adjudication.
• Assess impacts across membership, pricing, accumulators, and downstream integrations.
• Develop configuration documentation and mapping artifacts.
• Create and run testing scenarios for deductible, copay, coinsurance, OOP max, and network benefits.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement sustainable fixes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support launches and production implementations.
