Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product and Benefits Consultant to design, configure, and implement healthcare product and benefit plans within the Facets platform.

The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, scalable benefit solutions that support accurate claims adjudication and member experiences, while enabling a remote work model across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, business, or healthcare.
• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience, including 4+ years in Facets configuration.
• Strong knowledge of benefit design, copays, deductibles, and network variations.
• Experience documenting requirements and supporting end-to-end testing.

Responsibilities

• Design healthcare products, benefit structures, accumulators, and cost-sharing models.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets Product and Benefits components.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into Facets configurations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess impacts on claims, pricing, and eligibility.
• Develop test scenarios and validate claims outcomes for various cost-sharing elements.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement resolutions.
