Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for FAA field support in the Westbury, NY area. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining equipment at customer sites, with on-call travel across the FAA contracts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with extensive related experience or an associates degree with relevant experience. Strong network and electrical test skills are preferred and readiness to obtain security clearance is noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs and systems (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS).
• Install, repair, configure, test and maintain equipment at customer sites.
• Travel to remote locations and work on-call as needed to meet FAA requirements.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
