Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Brockton, MA is seeking a Field Technician C to support FAA field services. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot a range of avionics and communication equipment at customer sites, often remotely, with on-call duties.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with experience, ability to obtain security clearances, and the willingness to travel within a 3-hour drive circle and beyond as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 6+ years related experience
• Must obtain DOT Public Trust and DOD Secret Clearances
• Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS)
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites
• Travel to customer locations and on-call as needed; may travel beyond assigned area
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC and Helpdesk to resolve field issues
