Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to support FAA programs across the Boston area and surrounding sites. The role involves installing, repairing, configuring, and testing equipment at customer locations, with on-call travel as required.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or higher, valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain security clearances. Travel within the region and occasional longer trips may be required, with strong customer service skills essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT Public Trust Security Clearance and a DOD Secret Clearance.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and/or local US State REAL ID equivalent and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs/systems (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others).
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
• Work remotely in scheduled on-call capacity to various customer locations within the assigned area, with occasional travel to remote sites as needed.
