L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for its Field Services organization to support FAA contracts in the Buffalo, NY area. The role focuses on field installation, testing, and maintenance of communications and network equipment at FAA sites.

Ideal candidates will have extensive cable/network testing experience, the ability to travel, and the capacity to obtain required government clearances. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of field experience or 2 years post-secondary with 2+ years related experience.
• Ability to obtain DOT Public Trust and DOD Secret clearances.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for FAA contracts and FAA site locations.
• Install and test equipment, cabling, and network connectivity.
• Configure routers/switches and test using standard test gear.
• Travel within a 3 hour drive from Buffalo, NY area as needed.
• Support after-hours emergency calls and on-call duties.
