Job summary

Adecco Creative and Marketing is partnering with a leading animal health and diagnostics organization to hire an experienced Events Operations Manager. The role focuses on translating event strategies into organized, timely execution while coordinating with internal teams, agencies, venues, and vendors.

This is a fully remote, full-time temporary contract for about 9 months. Candidates must be local to Parsippany, NJ and be available to come onsite as needed to support events, including

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in event, conference, tradeshow, meeting, or hospitality management.
• Experience managing event logistics and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of conference/tradeshow operations, vendor coordination, meeting logistics, catering, and BEO processes.
• Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational execution of established event plans, timelines, and priorities.
• Support conferences, trade shows, meetings, and medical education programs from planning through closeout.
• Maintain detailed event project plans, checklists, schedules, trackers, and documentation.
• Coordinate with agencies, vendors, suppliers, venues, and internal stakeholders to keep deliverables on track.
• Manage booth logistics, event materials, equipment, setup requirements, literature, collateral, and staff attire.
• Coordinate event shipments, including preparation, tracking, receiving, inventory, delivery, and returns.
• Manage meeting-room logistics, including reservations, setup, audiovisual needs, schedules, and materials.
• Coordinate catering and food & beverage logistics, including BEOs, headcounts, guarantees, and venue communication.
