Job summary

Revecore is hiring an Event Setup Specialist to evaluate incoming data from medical providers, enter information into the patient file, and determine the next steps in working events. The role requires strong data-entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle diverse data formats (paper, fax, electronic) from home.

You will interact with internal customers, maintain confidentiality, and adapt workflows to meet contractual and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to type 35 WPM with minimal errors.
• Effective communication with internal customers.
• Highly organized, and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task.
• Ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly and efficiently with minimal errors.
• Proven to be reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of MRA departments and information needs.
• Ability to alter workflow according to client contractual and state requirements.
• Knowledge of auto and health payers; understanding patient accounting hierarchy.
• Ability to adapt to multiple levels of abstraction (big picture and detail).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and WordPerfect; ability to learn new systems.
• Comfort with printers, scanners, postage machines, scales, mail sorters, and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all incoming documents and data from medical providers and search for incoming leads.
• Update patient file into AcciClaim with new information.
• Determine next steps based on information and state requirements.
• Enter relevant new information into patient records.
• Synthesize information to identify additional data needs and next steps.
• Interact with data in various formats (paper, fax, electronic).
• Meet production standards and QA requirements.
• Perform special projects as needed.
