Job summary

Revecore is seeking an Event Setup Specialist to evaluate incoming documents, identify key leads, and update patient records for event workflows. You will interact with data from paper, fax, and electronic sources while maintaining strict QA standards.

The role requires strong typing, data-entry speed, and reliability, with the ability to adapt workflows to client requirements and protect PHI.

Qualifications

• The ability to type 35 WPM with minimal errors.
• Effective communication with internal customers.
• Highly organized and able to follow a systematic method.
• Ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly and accurately.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Understand MRA departments and their information needs.
• Ability to adapt workflow to client requirements.
• Knowledge of auto and health payers and patient accounting hierarchy.
• Able to handle multiple levels of abstraction (big picture and detail).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Word Perfect; able to learn new systems.
• Comfortable with office tech: printer, scanner, postage machines, scales, mail sorters, and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming data and identify leads and important information.
• Enter relevant new information into patient records.
• Synthesize information and determine next steps for the event.
• Interact with data in formats including paper, fax, and electronic.
• Meet production and QA standards consistently.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Maintain confidential information and adhere to privacy rules.
• Do not access confidential data unrelated to duties.
• Do not disclose PHI in violation of law.
