Job summary

Revecore seeks an Event Setup Specialist to review incoming provider documents, identify leads, and update patient records in AcciClaim. You will determine next steps based on available information and contract/state requirements.

You will interact with data in paper, fax, and electronic formats, maintain QA standards, and handle special projects while protecting PHI and confidential information.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of 35 WPM with minimal errors.
• Effective communication with internal customers.
• Highly organized with a methodical approach to tasks.
• Ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly and accurately.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Understand MRA departments and the information they need.
• Able to alter workflow per client contractual/state requirements.
• Knowledge of auto and health payers and patient accounting hierarchy.
• Able to switch between big picture and detail views.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and WordPerfect; learn new systems quickly.
• Comfort with printers, scanners, postage machines, scales, mail sorters, and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming data and correctly identify leads and information for the event.
• Enter relevant new information into the patient record.
• Synthesize information to determine next steps for the event.
• Interact with data in formats including paper, fax, and electronic.
• Consistently meet production standards and QA requirements.
• Perform assigned special projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of information learned on the job.
• Do not access data unrelated to job duties; protect PHI.
