Job summary

Lucid Motors in Houston is seeking an Electric Vehicle Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair Lucid vehicles in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate a passion for sustainable transportation and complete ASE and EPA 609 certifications with reimbursement support.

You will support HV/LV systems, document service activities, and collaborate with the service team and customers. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of automotive service technician experience including EV/HEV work.
• Knowledge of High Voltage, Low Voltage, and EV powertrains.
• Customer-facing experience with strong communication.
• Ability to use MS Office and learn DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification required.
• Willingness to complete CPR training post hire.
• Valid driver’s license with no recent suspensions; 21+ for older requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair basic and major mechanical issues and diagnose electrical/mechanical faults.
• Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (Three C’s).
• Document all customer vehicle interactions using the appropriate software.
• Communicate effectively with the service team and customers.
• Demonstrate and share learned technical skills with others.
• Show attention to detail and drive positive client experiences.
• Provide remote support to the mobile service team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
