Job summary

Lucid Motors USA, Inc. in Hayward, CA is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid vehicles. You will demonstrate a passion for sustainable transportation and work in a fast-paced environment.

ASE certifications are preferred and Lucid will reimburse costs after hire. The role requires 2-5 years of automotive service experience, HV/LV system knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and EV powertrains.
• Customer facing experience with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use MS Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification required.
• Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training post hire.

Responsibilities

• Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and diagnose electrical problems.
• Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems.
• Document repair orders and customer interactions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with service team and customers.
• Demonstrate and teach technical skills to others when needed.
• Work remotely and support mobile service as needed.
