Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Service Technician in Los Angeles to diagnose, maintain and repair Lucid vehicles. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with expectation to obtain ASE within 6-8 months; Lucid reimburses costs.

Responsibilities include repairing mechanical issues, diagnosing HV/LV systems, documenting service, and collaborating with the service team. The role requires 2–5 years EV experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and EV powertrains
• Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification
• Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post hire
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; drivers under 21 require longer license history

Responsibilities

• Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis
• Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems
• Document repair orders using the Three C's and appropriate software
• Collaborate with service team and customers
• Demonstrate and teach learned skills to others
• Support mobile service team and work remotely as needed
• Other duties as assigned
