Job summary

Voltpost is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grants & Partnerships Manager to lead origination and pursuit of funding for EV charging deployments. This remote role prefers candidates in NY/NJ/CT and requires superb writing and project management to advance opportunities from research through submission.

You will identify funding opportunities, build strategic partnerships, coordinate municipality outreach, and drive projects from concept to funded deployment across North America,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, business development, partnerships, project management, or related field.
• Experience in EV charging, transportation electrification, clean energy, climate technology, or related industry.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with clear, persuasive proposals.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist sourcing and pursuit of federal, state, local, utility, and private funding opportunities supporting EV charging infrastructure and transportation electrification.
• Manage end-to-end RFP and grant development from opportunity assessment through writing, partner coordination, budgeting, timelines, submission, and post-award reporting.
• Initiate EV charging projects with municipal agencies, utilities, and partners, aligning scopes with funding requirements and deployment needs.
• Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with prospective and existing partners for collaboration opportunities.
• Serve as a primary contact for external partners during project development and funding processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional proposal development across engineering, finance, business development, deployment, and leadership.
• Manage grant and RFP pipeline, tracking opportunities, active contracts, reporting requirements, and deadlines.
