Job summary

it's electric, a curbside EV charging leader, seeks a Project Engineer to deploy its unique charging model in Philadelphia. The role centers on end-to-end project delivery, from site assessment and design to permitting and coordination with utilities and authorities.

Remote-first position requiring strong autonomy, superb communication, and the ability to travel for local meetings and to it's electric's Brooklyn headquarters as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in complex urban projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred; PE must be maintained.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems in cities and buildings; familiarity with NEC (NFPA 70).

Responsibilities

• Overall project management for charger deployments.
• Site assessment including power capacity analysis.
• Engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
• Sign and stamp permit drawings for local authorities.
• Coordinate with permit authorities and utilities.
• Bid and award contractor work; construction administration.
• Develop and maintain project tracking documentation.
• Collaborate with regional teams and stakeholders.
