Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Manager to lead our Telecom team with a focus on EV charging programs. This role offers a remote work arrangement and involves managing multi-site EV infrastructure programs from planning through construction support.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in engineering/infrastructure/energy project management, strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and a drive to grow the department in partnership with business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience managing engineering, infrastructure, energy, utility, or EV projects.
• 4+ years of direct project-management responsibility including scope, schedule, budget, profitability, invoicing, and client communication.
• Experience in EV charging infrastructure with multidisciplinary design, permitting, utility coordination, and construction support.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal/external subs in environmental, surveying, geotechnical, and electrical.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication.
• Self-motivated to lead and grow a developing department.

Responsibilities

• Assume day-to-day leadership of an existing project team and established client portfolio.
• Manage EV charging infrastructure projects and multi-site programs from feasibility and due diligence through design, permitting, utility coordination, and construction support.
• Serve as the primary client contact and maintain clear, proactive communication regarding scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, invoicing, change management, and resource planning.
• Coordinate internal departments and external subconsultants, including environmental, surveying, geotechnical, electrical, civil/site, structural, and permitting professionals.
• Organize and prioritize multiple clients and concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project staff; delegate work effectively and establish accountability for quality and schedule performance.
• Partner with the business development team to identify and pursue opportunities, prepare proposals, develop scopes and fees, and onboard new clients and programs.
• Build scalable project-management processes that support growth, consistent delivery, and strong client service.
• Support expansion into related energy markets, including battery energy storage systems and utility infrastructure.
