Job summary

it's electric, a curbside EV charging start-up, seeks a Philadelphia-area Project Engineer for fully remote deployment oversight. You will manage charger deployments, assess sites, and create designs and permit drawings that meet local codes.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in electrical engineering, familiarity with NFPA 70/NEC, and experience coordinating with utilities and contractors. PE licensed professionals are strongly preferred; travel to Brooklyn HQ may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with urban design/build projects is highly valued.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC) and National Electric Safety Code.

Responsibilities

• Own overall project management for curbside charger deployments.
• Site assessment including available power capacity.
• Design and specifications with drawings; stamp permit drawings.
• Coordinate with permitting authorities and utilities; manage sub-consultants.
• Lead construction administration and track project documentation.
