Job summary

ServiceMaster of South Shore Inc. seeks an Estimator to create estimates in Xactimate per program guidelines and IICRC standards. The role demands attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restoration setting.

Experience with Xactimate is essential; knowledge of Xactanalysis is a plus. Flexible work-from-home options are available, with strong collaboration across on-site technicians and project teams.

Qualifications

• Must have Xactimate experience; essential for role.
• Basic construction background helpful for estimating building materials.

Responsibilities

• Read scopes and create estimates from on-site information.
• Document property loss with photos and upload to system.
• Prepare Mitigation and Reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other software.
• Coordinate with project manager to gather required info (photos, notes, documents).
• Determine labor and equipment costs and adjust estimates per client feedback.
• Liaise with insurers and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner.
