Job summary

ServiceMaster RRH in Middletown, OH seeks an Estimator to create accurate estimates in Xactimate following IICRC standards. The role requires detailed instruction, knowledge of restoration processes, and the ability to communicate with insurance professionals.

Hours are on-site with potential advancement opportunities. The candidate must have Xactimate experience and be prepared to document losses with photos, manage all estimating documents, and coordinate with the project team to ensure

Qualifications

• Xactimate experience is essential and will be assessed during screening.
• Basic construction knowledge of building materials and related components.
• Candidate should be detail-oriented and able to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and scope jobs onsite and coordinate with Project Manager/ Crew Chief/ Lead Tech on scope.
• Document losses with clear photos and upload into the system.
• Prepare mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software.
• Communicate key information and notes on the job using required software.
• Estimate costs using carrier audit standards and manage estimates with client feedback.
• Ensure all required documentation (photos, notes, signatures) is complete.
• Record drying details using mobile software.
• Determine labor and equipment costs and prepare quantity takeoffs.
• Liaise with insurance companies and adjusters via phone and email.
• Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks.
• Review quotes with the construction project team and address exceptions promptly.
