Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration by Integrity in Middletown, Ohio is seeking an Estimator to create restoration estimates using Xactimate, adhering to IICRC standards. The role requires understanding of commercial and insurance restoration and a basic construction background to assess materials and scopes affected by wind, water, fire, or other damage.

Candidates must have Xactimate experience and will be evaluated on their ability to document losses with photos, notes, and thorough estimates,

Qualifications

• Xactimate experience is essential; without it you will not be considered.
• Understanding of the commercial and insurance restoration industry helps.
• Basic construction background including building materials and flooring is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and scope jobs onsite with Project Manager/Crew Chief for scope.
• Document loss with photos and upload into the system.
• Write mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software.
• Communicate key information on the job using notes in the software.
• Estimate using carrier audit standards and update based on client feedback.
• Coordinate documentation (photos, notes, documents) with project team.
• Record drying progress using mobile software.
• Determine labor and equipment costs.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Communicate with insurers and adjusters via phone/email as liaison.
• Manage estimate documents and assess project risks.
• Review quotes with construction team and address exceptions promptly.
