Job summary

SERVPRO Franchise is seeking a detail-oriented Mitigation Restoration Estimator to draft accurate insurance mitigation estimates (Water, Fire, Smoke, Mold, EMS) and coordinate with field teams, insurers, and TPAs. This is a full-time role with EST hours and potential weekend work to maintain compliance.

Experience in insurance mitigation estimation, strong Xactimate proficiency (Symbility a bonus), and a home-office setup are required; TPAs like Alacrity/Sedgwick often drive deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience writing insurance mitigation estimates in the property restoration industry.
• Proficient in Xactimate; Symbility experience is a bonus.
• Familiar with TPAs (Alacrity, Sedgwick, Lionsbridge, Westhill, etc.) and their compliance metrics.
• Ability to work EST hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with weekend availability.
• Must provide 3–5 approved, redacted mitigation estimates during interview.
• Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Dual-Platform Estimate Generation: Write comprehensive, accurate mitigation estimates for Water, Fire, Smoke, Mold, and EMS using Xactimate and Symbility.
• TPA Compliance Management: Navigate, upload, and manage strict compliance metrics within major TPA programs (Alacrity, Sedgwick, Westhill, etc.).
• Scope Verification: Review field documentation, sketches, photos, and psychrometric logs to ensure alignment with IICRC standards and carrier guidelines.
• SLA & Queue Maintenance: Monitor assignment queues daily—including weekends as necessary—to meet SLAs.
• Negotiation & Approvals: Communicate with insurance adjusters and TPA auditors to justify estimates and secure timely approvals.
