Carrington Mortgage Services, a leader in residential real estate servicing, seeks a Sr. Escrow Oversight Specialist to supervise escrow processes for loans with mortgage insurance and manage monthly premiums exceeding $33 million.

This senior role requires oversight capabilities, proficiency with industry systems, and strong regulatory understanding. The position offers remote work from home in the United States with pay ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college education preferred.
• Experience using mortgage loan servicing and originating systems.
• 3–4 years banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels.
• Strong math skills and attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks meet applicable regulatory requirements.
• Boarding and reconciliation for newly acquired loan populations.
• Oversee loans with active mortgage insurance.
• Reconcile, process, and bulk transfer monthly payments for FHA/PMI/USDA.
• Communicate with FHA/PMI/USDA vendors to resolve issues.
• Process report of loans pending refinance to stop escrow disbursements.
• Generate data points from spreadsheets for monthly business reviews.
• Quality control review for junior staff and report to management.
• Escalate complex escrow issues and recommend solutions.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
