Job summary

First American is hiring for an escrow-related role within Mortgage Solutions. You will assist with disbursement ledgers, review closing statements, and ensure accurate balance and timely disbursement of funds.

Ideal candidates have banking or escrow experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to read and interpret documents. Remote work options are available and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years Banking and/or Escrow Experience highly preferred.
• Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office and escrow software. Typing a minimum of 40 WPM is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, and to write routine correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist escrow branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions by setting up a disbursement ledger with checks and wires.
• Review and prepare closing files for disbursement once the file is closed.
• Confirm file balances and disburse funds according to direction.
• Balance files with escrow officers and Title Agents for closed files.
