Job summary

First American Mortgage Solutions is seeking an Escrow Specialist to assist escrow branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions, balance files, and disburse funds according to closing statements.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1+ years banking/escrow experience, and proficiency in MS Office and escrow software. Excellent customer service and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years Banking and/or Escrow Experience highly preferred.
• Intermediate level MS Office and escrow software; typing 40 WPM.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine correspondence; speak before groups.
• Basic accounting knowledge including accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of Closing Disclosure and ALTA statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist escrow branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions by setting up a disbursement ledger with checks and wires.
• Review and prepare closing files for disbursement once the file is closed.
• Balance files that have closed and disburse the funds according to direction.
• Work with escrow officers and Title Agents to balance closed files and disburse the file.
