Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AHIMA or AAPC coding certification maintained annually.
• Minimum 2+ years ICD-10, CPT coding experience for facility charging.
• 2+ years Emergency Room coding experience.
• Proficient in Excel and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes for facility services.
• Adhere to coding guidelines and professional standards.
• Maintain performance in coding quality and productivity.
• Stay current with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, NCCI, and related policies.
• Query physicians when needed and participate in team meetings.
