Job summary

Huntress Labs is seeking a remote Equity Administrator to own the equity program from grant approval through final employee transactions. You will ensure accurate records, transparent answers for employees, and reliable processes across Legal, Finance, People, payroll, and leadership.

You will be expected to spot gaps, own improvements, and use AI tools judiciously while protecting sensitive data. This role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and offers equity alongside a strong compensation

Qualifications

• Experience administering an equity program using Carta.
• Understanding stock options and equity awards and related employee events.
• Ability to reconcile equity records with payroll, accounting, and approved data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cap table and equity award records in Carta, including grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, and departures.
• Coordinate grant approvals, documentation, and transaction workflows with Legal, Finance, People, payroll, and leadership.
• Reconcile Carta records against payroll data and accounting records; investigate discrepancies.
• Support equity-related reporting, audits, valuations, and board materials.
• Answer employee questions about equity awards and transactions with clarity and discretion.
• Develop clear procedures, controls, and improvements as the program grows.
• Use AI tools to accelerate drafting, research, and record review while protecting confidential information.
