Job summary

enGen is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst to configure, rollout, and support the Ambulatory Epic application(s). The role involves business analysis, requirements documentation, system design, and resolving end-user issues to improve workflows.

You will communicate with end-users to understand needs, implement effective solutions, and contribute to small to medium projects while maintaining project documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

• 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
• Experience with Epic Ambulatory is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Associates degree required; 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience preferred.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs/builds, tests, implements, and supports the needs of Epic software.
• Analyzes and determines system requirements and specifications; documents workflow analyses and maintains end-user documentation.
• Configures changes within Epic environments to provide standardized workflows; resolves issues and implements new functionality.
• Provides guidance and support to end-users to enhance Epic usage and resolve issues.
• Contributes to small to medium projects and keeps stakeholders updated on progress.
• Performs root cause analysis to resolve routine to moderately complex problems and documents solutions.
