Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Epic Analyst for its Imaging Services department. The role is full-time, dayshift, with on-call duties and a fully remote work arrangement supported for multiple states including KY.

Candidates should have EPIC experience, a BS in Computer Science or related field, and at least 3 years in IT or clinical settings. Responsibilities include mapping and optimizing Epic workflows, validating requirements, and coordinating deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Typically 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining requirements, testing and documentation.
• EPIC certification within 6 months of hire and ongoing requirements will be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis using BPMN diagrams and data models.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements and system specifications.
• Translate user requirements into functional design specifications and reviews.
• Develop test plans, cases and scripts; conduct unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Provide training and support to users; create training materials.
• Manage application upgrades and coordinate with clinic users on status and delays.
