Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Epic Population Health IT Analyst to support day-to-day operations, optimize, test, and maintain Epic Population Health applications including Inpatient Case Management, Healthy Planet, and EpicCare Link. This remote role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive the Population Health strategy.

Ideal candidates have a nursing/health IT background with Epic HP, IP Clin Doc, or Epic Case Management certification preferred, and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field; 5 years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Epic HP/Healthy Planet, IP Clin Doc, or Epic Case Management certification preferred.
• 3 years of healthcare, clinical informatics, or IT analyst experience with a degree.
• Experience in clinical case management or population health programs required.
• Knowledge of inpatient nursing workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with testing, workflow analysis, system upgrades, or application optimization preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for Epic Population Health applications.
• Assist with optimization, testing, and upgrades.
• Support integration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in workflow analysis, validation, and system improvements.
• Deliver responsive customer service and issue resolution.
