Job summary

Sentara Health seeks an Epic Population Health IT Analyst to support, test, and maintain Epic Population Health applications, including Healthy Planet and EpicCare Link, aligned with organizational population health strategy. The role is remote and involves coordinating with cross-functional teams for integration, upgrades, testing, and ongoing support.

Bachelor’s degree in a health/IT-related field is required; Epic HP/Healthy Planet certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is required or preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience in clinical informatics, population health, or IT analyst roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of inpatient nursing workflows and healthcare operations is advantageous.
• Epic Healthy Planet, population health tools or related healthcare technology apps familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, optimization, testing, and maintenance of Epic Population Health applications (Inpatient Case Management, Healthy Planet, EpicCare Link).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration, system upgrades, testing, and ongoing operational support for population health growth.
• Support remote work environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (Nursing / Health Information Management / Healthcare Administration / Information Technology)

5 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Epic HP / Healthy Planet Certification (Preferred)
