Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Epic Population Health IT Analyst to support day-to-day operations, optimization, testing, and maintenance of Epic Population Health applications including Inpatient Case Management, Healthy Planet and EpicCare Link.

This remote role works with cross-functional teams on integration, upgrades, testing, and ongoing operational support to advance Sentara's Population Health strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Epic HP (Healthy Planet) or IP Clin Doc or Epic Case Management Certification preferred.
• 3 years of healthcare/clinical informatics/IT analyst experience with a degree; 5 years in lieu of degree.
• Experience in clinical case management, care coordination, or population health programs required.
• Knowledge of inpatient nursing workflows and healthcare operations.
• Remote work capability and strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and optimization of Epic Population Health applications.
• Support testing and maintenance of Epic Population Health apps (Inpatient Case Management, Healthy Planet, EpicCare Link).
• Assist with system upgrades, testing, and workflow analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Population Health strategy.
• Deliver reliable remote technical assistance and user support.
