Job summary
Sentara Health is seeking an Epic Population Health IT Analyst to support day-to-day operations, testing, and optimization of Epic Population Health applications, including Healthy Planet and Inpatient Case Management, to advance the organization’s population health strategy. This remote role collaborates with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate has a nursing/health IT background and 3+ years of relevant experience; Epic HP certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health field or related IT domain.
- 3 years of healthcare informatics or IT analyst experience.
- Experience with Epic Healthy Planet, population health tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, optimization, testing, and maintenance of Epic Population Health applications (Healthy Planet, Inpatient Case Management, EpicCare Link).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrations, upgrades, testing, and ongoing operational support for population health growth.
- Assist with workflow analysis and application optimization activities, ensuring timely issue resolution.
