Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a detail-oriented Epic OpTime Analyst to support the Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules. The role involves configuring, rolling out, and supporting Epic applications, with strong emphasis on perioperative workflows and user-focused solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in healthcare IT and experience with Epic OpTime or ORIS/PIS modules; Epic certification is preferred but not required at hire. This is a remote-based position with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or related field.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for perioperative departments using Epic OpTime.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to translate needs into Epic OpTime solutions.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing and implementation of Epic OpTime.
• Identify opportunities to improve perioperative workflows and efficiency.
• Design/build/test/implement Epic configurations and updates.
• Create and maintain documentation and training materials for Epic usage.
• Guide end-users to enhance Epic usage and resolve issues.
• Lead small-to-medium projects and update stakeholders on progress.
