Job summary

The University of Miami Health System’s IT Department seeks a, full-time Epic Senior Analyst for OpTime/Anesthesia to optimize, implement, and support Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules. You will lead design efforts, coordinate with stakeholders, and mentor junior staff to ensure clinical workflows meet organizational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, Clinical Discipline, or related field.
• Epic Optime/Anesthesia Certification.
• Additional Epic certifications/proficiencies in other clinical modules preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience supporting Epic applications, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to optimize Epic OpTime/Anesthesia configuration and access.
• Serves as primary end-user support contact for Epic OpTime/Anesthesia.
• Lead design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules.
• Plan, build, test, deploy, and document changes; validate workflow impacts.
• Analyze clinical workflows and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts and support ticket resolution and data requests.
• Develop training materials and communication plans for new functionality.
• Ensure compliance with policies, security standards, and governance.
