Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Epic OpTime Analyst to support our client's Epic environment in a contract role based out of New York, NY. The analyst will design, configure, test, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic OpTime, collaborating with perioperative teams to improve surgical workflows and OR efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have deep Epic OpTime knowledge, strong incident management capabilities, and the ability to learn client workflows quickly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Epic OpTime analyst experience.
• Experience supporting large healthcare systems or hospital networks.
• Strong understanding of perioperative and surgical services workflows.

Responsibilities

• Configure, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic OpTime functionality.
• Support operating room scheduling, surgical workflows, and perioperative operations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and service requests.
• Take ownership of assigned and unassigned work, driving issues through to completion.
• Analyze workflow requirements and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and support optimization efforts.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing cycles, and implementation activities.
• Contribute to enhancement projects and ongoing system improvements.
• Document system build, configuration changes, workflows, and support activities.
• Provide end-user support and guidance to perioperative staff and leadership.
• Participate in Go-Live support activities as needed, including potential onsite support during Wave 3.
