Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Epic IT Analyst to identify, map, analyze, and optimize clinical and business processes for Epic applications. You will map workflows, document requirements, and configure systems to meet business needs, while coordinating testing and user training.

The role supports remote work with on-call duties and requires Epic certification within six months. A bachelor’s degree in CS and 3 years in IT/clinical settings are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
3 years in IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, requirements definition, acceptance testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

Identify, map, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using BPM techniques and industry standards.
Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams, data models and object models.
Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans/cases/scripts.
Conduct unit, integration, system and user acceptance testing and track issues.
