Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Epic Analyst to identify, map, and optimize clinical and business processes for Epic applications. The role includes system configuration, test planning, and delivering end-user training in a fully remote setting.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, 3 years in IT/clinical environments, and proven Epic experience. Ability to manage projects and communicate clearly is essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with BPM, requirements, testing and documentation experiences.
Experience in Epic and other Healthcare applications.
Project management experience with ability to use project management software.

Responsibilities

Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using BPM techniques.
Prepare documentation for business requirements with diagrams and models.
Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans/cases/scripts.
Conduct unit/integration/system and UAT testing; track issues and outcomes.
Develop training materials and support trainers and users.
