Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a seasoned IT professional to join its Imaging Services team. The role focuses on Epic application analysis, workflow redesign, and system configuration to meet clinical and business needs.

You will translate user requirements into detailed design, lead testing efforts, and deliver user training to ensure seamless adoption. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years in IT/clinical environments and Epic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
• EPIC certification within 6 months and ongoing education as required by department.
• Experience with Epic and other Healthcare applications.
• Project management experience with ability to use project management software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements and evaluate proposed solutions.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications and prioritize with stakeholders.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans and scripts.
• Provide training materials and user training for project success.
• Monitor system functionality and make process improvements as needed.
• Explain application functions to users and assist with full utilization.
