Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Epic-focused IT analyst to map, analyze, and improve clinical and business processes within Epic systems. The role requires 3+ years of IT or clinical experience, experience with business process mapping and requirement documentation, and strong communication to train users and support stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years of IT or clinical environment experience with business process mapping, analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using industry standards.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements with diagrams and models.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans and cases.
• Conduct unit, integration, system and UAT testing and track issues.
• Provide client and user training materials and training sessions.
• Explain application functionality and assist users in using full features.
• Develop and maintain product documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Communicate project status and upgrades to clinic users; manage version upgrades.
