Advocate Health is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the Epic Factory AI Program and other cross-application strategic initiatives under the AVP of Clinical Applications for Strategic Projects & AI.

The candidate must hold Epic EHR certification with hands-on experience across core applications and excel at translating complex business requirements into optimized workflows for improved performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• Epic EHR certified professional with hands-on experience across core applications.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into streamlined workflows.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across all management levels.
• Creative problem solver to reimagine workflows for efficiency and usability.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, healthcare standards, and end-to-end workflow design.
• Experience leading complex, high-visibility projects from concept to execution.
• Track record of delivering strategic initiatives including AI-enabled healthcare solutions.
• Expertise in change management to drive adoption and sustain improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and understand business cases and requirements with IT leadership and business units.
• Assist in business relationship management, strategy and portfolio/demand management as needed.
• Maintain productive relationships across IT and business, articulating value and coordinating with teams.
• Lead coordination and monitor project activities, providing technical direction for on-time, quality delivery.
• Analyze initiatives, define measurable outcomes, and implement benefits-tracking for projects.
• Mentor IT staff in workflows and system enhancements; support skills development.
• Create clear business process mappings showing interdependencies between systems.
• Support risk management, communications plans, and implementation strategies.
