Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules for PV solar projects. The role is fully remote, but travel to regional jobsites will be required to lead scheduling efforts with engineering, procurement and field teams.

You will use P6 to produce baselines, update progress, analyze critical paths, and generate reports. A degree in Engineering/Construction Management and 3+ years in scheduling are expected; strong English communication is

Qualifications

• Engineering/Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling for construction projects, HV, substations or electrical features.
• Prior EPC scheduling experience is highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 Software is required.
• Knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Construction-related scheduling experience - CPM.
• Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and business writing.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
• Ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 software to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Assist in planning the project by analyzing documents, drawings, contracts and exhibits.
• Perform quantity take-offs to establish activity durations and maintain trackers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management and field teams.
• Seek stakeholder feedback to improve schedule buy-in and accuracy.
• Ensure sound CPM logic and realistic durations.
• Attend project meetings to understand issues and updates.
• Update schedule at least twice a month with actuals.
• Communicate updates and maintain schedule reports in Teams and SharePoint.
• Maintain delay logs with details from development to completion.
